A leading supplier & manufacturer
of precision engineered components
Technifast stock Clevis Pins to ISO 2341B (DIN 1444B), which has a cross-drilled hole intended for use with a Cotter Pin or Retaining Pin (R-Clip). Also available are ISO 2341 with grooves for Circlips to DIN 471.
Coiled Spring Pins consist of 2 1/4 coils of spring steel or stainless steel and have swaged chamfers at each end. They are designed for plain drilled holes, but countersinking makes insertion easier
Split Cotter Pins are stocked by Technifast in diameter 1 to 13mm in mild steel (usually zinc plated), stainless A4 and brass.
Dowels are solid pins, usually precision ground to narrow limits to permit accurate fitting. Precision dowels are traditionally used to hold parts together in a fixed alignment relying on the tightness of fit to stay in place. However, some applications for solid pins require clearance or transition fits on at least one of the components to be fastened.
Grooved Pins are solid pins with three swaged grooves at 120° pitch along all or part of their length.
Technifast's wide range of linch pins are available in mild steel, finished in zinc with yellow chromate and have spring steel clip
Retaining Pins are stocked in the single coil and double coil design. The single coil is suitable for most applications and the double coil is for more demanding use.
Shaft Locking Pins are available in mild steel, finished in zinc with yellow chromate and have spring steel clips.
Slotted Spring Pins consist of a single coil of spring steel (or stainless steel) with an open slot sufficiently wide to enable the pin to reduce in diameter as it is driven in a hole of appropriate size.
We can now offer non-standard solid pins made on high precision CNC production, normally on short lead times.
We can supply taper pins to various standards and are also able to quote for completely non-standard dimensions
