EU sanctions against Russia – impending changes affecting fasteners;
The latest update of EU restrictions against Russia, includes a far-reaching prohibition on the import and purchase of steel products processed in third countries that include input materials originating in Russia. This takes effect from 30th September 2023.
Technifast can confirm that we do not use any raw material originating from Russia.
Our delivery/advice notes clearly state the country of origin for products supplied, as well as the commodity code and we are able to add to paperwork that ‘goods comply to EU-Regulation 833/2014‘ if required.
If material certificates are required for every delivery, this would need to be requested at the time of enquiry and quoted accordingly for all products including those we manufacture in house.
